WHO SOM?
We are the dependent area of L'Ametlla de Mar City Council in charge of promoting, organize and disseminate physical activity and sport as part of our population.
MISSION
Our mission is to awaken the interest of the citizens and visitors to L'Ametlla for physical activity and sport whatever your fitness, economic, social, old, sex and origin.
With this objective, Our efforts will focus on:
- Manage and administer local resources related to physical activity and sport.
- Provide and promote physical activity and sport services to citizens and our visitors.
- Improving the quality of life through the organization and promotion of sport and physical activities.
- Enhance the image of the town through physical activity and sport.
VISION
Our vision of the present and future of the organization we want is based on two main:
- Being a leader in transparency municipal area, effectiveness and efficiency in the management of resources and services for physical activity, sports and welfare for citizens and visitors to L'Ametlla.
- Being a leader outside and local public administration in the supply and promotion of physical activity and sport in different areas; training, competition, Health and Recreation.

OBJECTE SOCIAL ÀREA D’ESPORTS (ESTATUTS)
- Promote access to the practice of sport and quality physical activity at municipal level, with special attention to base sport for the purposes of spreading sports activity in Ametlla de Mar.
- Favor the provision of municipal sports equipment and consolidate a network of quality municipal sports facilities.
- Provide sports services of all kinds and carry out activities related to these, within the framework of the corresponding Contract-Program with the Ametlla de Mar City Council.
- Manage municipal sports facilities.
- Establish collaboration strategies with entities of any nature that offer sports activities that do not take place in the municipality and that complete the offer of this, as well as with other entities that, due to their proximity to the municipality, allow a properly coordinated sports offer to be achieved.
- Promote sports events in the municipality, as well as the marketing structure of these events.
- Promote non-strictly sporting events aimed at sports professionals, with congresses, encounters, symposia, conferences, etc.
- Promote sport at school age.
- Encourage the use of public space for the practice of sport.
- Encourage and regulate the use of public sports facilities, per tal de facilitar la seva utilització polivalent per part dels ciutadans i associacions esportives.
- Promocionar l’associacionisme esportiu local.
- La construcció, millora i l’equipament d’instal·lacions esportives municipals
- Ser consultada per l’Ajuntament amb caràcter previ a que aquest atorgui subvencions en l’àmbit esportiu.
- Qualsevol altra activitat relacionada amb les anteriors per al foment i la pràctica de l’activitat esportiva en qualsevol de les seves modalitats o categories.
ESTRATÈGIA
Partim des de l’observació, l’anàlisi i la detecció de la realitat i necessitats esportives locals, de les quals se’n deriven les diferents propostes d’intervenció estructurades en diferents programes, objectives and strategic axes, which are specified in various activities aimed at sports fields and sectors of the population.
Of these actions is shown in the form of services, activities, Events, promotions or supports, The data are collected through indicators by which we get the feedback of interventions, allowing us to evaluate them, rethink them if necessary, contrasting them with a new analysis of the local sports system.
