Bringing back memories - Multiactivitat a les Terres de l'Ebre
Carrer Andreu Llambrich, 25
This route starts in l'Aldea where we will set off to cross the Ports mountains. You will visit the “forn del morruno”, el morruno's oven, which was built in Prat del Compte in 1860. It was one of the town's communal ovens and harboured a distillery in its basement to make liquor/spirts for the year.
Lunch in a restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will continue our journey to Horta de Sant Joan where you will visit the Picasso Centre. This famous artist spent long periods of his younger days in the town and left his print and legacy there. From Horta you will follow a scenic route to Bot and Gandesa, which is the capital of the Terra Alta. To finish your day, you will cross the Pàndols and Cavalls mountains when we will tell you the story of the legend of Our Lady of Fontcalda and the bandit Panxampla.
