A unique coast

The coast of Ametlla de Mar consists of 20 km made up of beautiful and unspoiled beaches and coves, all with different characteristics. Towards the north more of fine white sand with all kinds of services or to the south more isolated rocky beaches with large P.E.I.N. areas protected due to their high ecological interest.

Its abrupt profile, made up of beautiful cliffs with Mediterranean vegetation, which, accompanied by beaches and coves, make some wonderful and virgin landscapes unique in the Mediterranean Coast.

The GR92 coastal path also known as the Mediterranean path runs along its entire coastline and is an excellent way to discover each and every one of the coves and beaches of the population.

L'Ametlla de Mar Municipal Tourism Area has received a €2,500 grant from the Tourism Board of the Tarragona Council as a collaboration to obtain blue flags for the coast of our municipality.
